Programming Student
As a senior at Acalanes High School, I took both APCSP and APCSA in preperation for college CS classes. I am also learning how to code outside of school with TheCoderSchool, based in Walnut Creek. This program allows me to expand my knowledge of coding in languages such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL, React, and Python.
I started tutoring with TheScratchCenter, an online service that I founded during 2020 aimed towards teaching kids ages 12 and under the fundamentals of programming. I expanded my teaching experience with TheCoderSchool. During the summer I host Python summer camps through the school. During the schoolyear I tutor 1-on-1 classes in a variety of languages.
Throughout High school I have volunteered with many organizations, but the three I have spent the most time with are Camp Awesome, The Sydney Paige Foundation, and the Contra Costa and Solano Food Bank. I received the National Presidental Volunteering Award for volunteering in my Sophmore year and the schoolwide volunteering award in my freshman and junior years.
In my junior year of high school I created the Hiking Club to bring together those interested in hanging out over the many local hiking trails. In the same year I created a non-profit called Athletes For Action, aiming to provide neccessary funding to low-income athletes. I am a varsity thrower for my high schools track team and over the weekends I play basketball and pickleball with my friends.

I am a senior at Acalanes High School looking to pursue Computer Science as a career. I enjoy graphic design, simple video-production, and programming.
I started with programming at age 8 using MIT's click and drag oriented Scratch. I played around with the site and learned basic programming structures until I received a tutor at age 13; They helped me learn real programming languages such as Javascript, Python, HTML/CSS, C#, Git, SQL, and React.
